A recent study has concluded that a different part of the brain is involved with Dyslexia among English Speakers and Chinese speakers.
The article refers to the fact the English is based on phonix, and Chinese is based on characters that represent words. |

Here is another oldtime fiddle tune called Hangman's Reel. Henry the fiddler turne me on to a Jean Carignan video on youtube, and Chris ricker was kind enough to post a bunch of Jean Carignan videos that he had. Jean is now among my favorite fiddlers of all time. His bow work is phenomenal, and his rhythm is driving. |

I have been playing around with cross-tuning my fiddle to different alternate tunings.
I like the way Bonaparte's Retreat sounds in GDGD tuning. When I get some spare time, I will post it in DDAD tuning as well. |

I'm taking a stab at creating a youtube video that will get a lot of views. Instead of posting fiddle tunes that I have written, this time I'm posting the Super Mario Brothers theme Song on Fiddle (as a response to Christian Patillo - the beatboxing flute player.) Wish me luck. |
